January 7th

Goals Today:

  • Vegan
  • Grain Free
  • Wheat Free
  • Corn Free
  • Alcohol Free
  • 30 min of Meditation / Yoga (meditation group)
  • 24 min workout (12 min w/o = 60 cable presses (magenta), 60 asst chins,  36 (each leg) 1 leg stair step-ups, 24 Stair Crawls)

Breakfast:

  • Apple
  • Dried Fruit and raw nuts – 1 oz

Lunch:

Snack:

  • Bumble Baby from Co-op (sesame seeds, agave, cashews, peanut butter, salt)  Although these have salt and are sweet, they do make a good treat when I really, really want something sweet)

Dinner:

  • Smoothie (blueberries, grapes, pineapple, spinach, kale, orange)
  • Left over lasagna

Today was great!  I ate really well, enjoyed a great workout, and had fun with the meditation group!

January 5th

Goals Today:

  • Vegan x (ranch dressing)
  • Grain Free √
  • Wheat Free √
  • Corn Free x (corn chips and ranch dressing)
  • Alcohol Free √
  • 20 min of Mediation / Yoga √ (mediation was hard)

Breakfast:

  • Coffee
  • Smoothie (water, banana, blueberries, pineapple, Kale)

Shoot – I had a Dr’s appt this afternoon and got really stressed out!  My reponse was to stop at the fast food place and get french fries and dip them into ranch dressing.  Then later, I figured I had already fallen off of my wagon, so I got tortilla chips and quacomole!

January 4th

Goals Today:

  • Vegan √
  • Grain Free√
  • Wheat Free√
  • Corn Free √
  • Alcohol Free X (Brandy Sour after dinner)
  • 30 min of Meditation / Yoga X (no meditation today)
  • 30 min workout √ (10 min 15/15 cable presses and asst. chin-ups | 10 mins of 15/15 lunges and squats | 10 min of 15/15 stair crawls)

Breakfast:

  • Coffee
  • Smoothie (water, kale, blueberries, banana, and pineapple)

Lunch:

Dinner

  • Left over tofu, zucchini stew
  • Left over peanut stew

Today was a good day for food.  The workout felt great as well.  Dinner was definitely fridge clean-out!

January 3rd

Goals Today:

  • Alcohol Free X

Breakfast:

  • Smoothie (water, banana, blueberries, kale, pineapple)
  • Coffee

Lunch:

  • Left over Peanut Stew
  • Lunch Salad (yum)

Dinner:

  • Tofu Stew (zucchini, tofu, tomatoes, mushrooms)
  • Left over candied pecans
  • Brandy Sour

Food today was good and my body feels good.  I have horrible PMS though.  I had planned on working out, but was quite sore from yesterday.

January 2nd

  • Corn Free X
  • Alcohol Free X
  • Workout √ (3×10 Shoulder Press | 3×10 asst. chins | 10 min (15/15) intervals of stair crawls)

Breakfast:

  • No Breakfast
  • Coffee

Lunch:

  • Ruben and fries and carrot cake – lunch was out and I fell into the diner trap.

Dinner:

  • Burrito with rice, guacamole, tator-tots, and pickled red onion

Well today was a wash.  Once I fell off of my wagon, I figured I should just eat what I wanted.  On the plus side, I did have a great workout!
