December 28th

Goals Today:

  • Vegan
  • Grain Free x (rice noodles)
  • Wheat Free
  • Corn Free
  • Alcohol Free √
  • 30 min of Mediation / Yoga

Breakfast:

  • Coffee
  • 2 apples
  • 1 oz dried fruit and raw nuts

Lunch:

So today is kind of crazy here at the office. There are cookies and candies EVERYWHERE! There is a table by my office with several boxes of junk food and I keep hearing people say “these look so good” and the response is always, “they are good, but I had to get them out of the house” I want to say – “hey if you really cared about us, you would throw them away instead of bringing them here!” I decided shut my mouth and take pics instead. My lunch was great and am glad that I took Nancy Reagan’s advice and just said no.

Dinner:

  • I ate out with a friend and it was a mistake 😦  I have eaten at the place we went several times and they are very accommodating to my vegan / wheat free eating style.  I fell into an old pattern and decided that I should have a noodle dish because it was really, really cold outside and I wanted comfort food.  It was still vegan and wheat free as it was made with rice noodles, but the sauce was way too sweet and oily and there were only 3 pieces of broccoli.  Lesson learned.
  • 1 oz raw cashews and 1/4 cup of vegan chocolate chips.

Today was really good until dinner and it was really not that bad, other than that my food didn’t taste good.  I stayed corn, wheat, and alcohol free and I did meditation / yoga for 30 minutes.  I really like doing the meditation as I feel like it helps me connect with myself.
